Is it LEGAL to post I am starting a business,
Strike9 Computing, and I
wanted to know if I could run
into trouble if I display,
specifically, Geeksquad's
prices for their services next
to my prices I am charging. I
also have a link that
customers can follow showing
the same price on Geeksquad's
website. Is it legal to have
their prices next to mine?
The site can be seen at:
http://www.strike9computing.co
m/ , and follow the Services
tab in the navigation bar.

You may realize that you create an adverse reaction. With consumer confidence at an all time low, they may end up going with the company they recognize, despite a higher price. Don't provide a link unless you like giving free advertising to your competition. On top of that, you may run into legal issues with using the name in any manner without permission as I am sure it is trademarked. Simply say - top competitor's price : |
