What happens if I cancel a I have initiated the transfer
process and paid for my new
domain service elsewhere,
including entering the domain
register authorization code
from my old provider to the
new one. What would happen if
I canceled my service contract
with my old (current) domain
registrar right now? I ask
because it's due to renew, and
I want to cancel it BEFORE it
does, since they won't refund
my money. If I cancel it today
(for example), what will
happen to the domain transfer
process? Will I lose the money
I've paid the company I'm
transferring to?

How do I prevent a domain user I need to prevent a certain
domain user from using a
certain domain computer. I'm
using Server 2003 Active
Directory. Computer is running
XP Pro.
I need to restrict the user to
all but one computer - I'm
guessing I need to create some
kind of local policy on the
workstation?

All I know is that its's in the rights of the user....inside of Active Directory, look up users.... but yes you can limit the users' access to be able to log in to one terminal only... you might want to buy a book on Active Directory... |
