Is there a chat messenger I haven't been able find one.
Windows live & Google Talk
only work with PCs and Yahoo
Messenger has a new program
for Macs, but you can only
video chat with other Macs and
the PC
user can see the Macs video
but the Mac user cannot see
the PCs video. Is there a
video chat program that works
with PCs & Macs?

How do I video Chat from a mac I have a Mac pro laptop and my
bestfriend has a hp pavilion
entertainment PC windows
vista. I tried to video chat
with her using ichat but it
didn't work, all that worked
was the audio, and her laptop
has a built in webcam. I
wanted to know if there was
some kind of software that
enables us to video chat and
see and hear each other.

Your friend might have some antivirus program disabling vid-chat. Turn off this for the time that you chat. Problems might also occur if either of you are connected via Internet with a WEP password... no remedies from Apple yet, sorry |

so I was hoping I could video
chat with friends on msn
through yahoo messenger? I
know I can at least send them
ims and that yahoo messenger
supports video chatting, but I
want to make sure it's
possible to video chat with my
friends before I get my hopes

If you want to video chat in yahoo messenger,its possible however you run web cam and voice separately.you see the video in webcam windo wand hear the voice throgh voice chat. But if you want to have video chat in yahoo messenger with sb who has msn id,its not possible,you can just send them message. Pls select my answer as the best if you satisfied with it.Thank u. |
