Answering Service?
I do not have an answering
machine in my dorm room, so I
don't have an answering
service and people cannot
leave me messages when I am
not available. I'm pretty sure
there is a way to retrieve
messages just using the phone
(entering numbers, voice mail,
etc.) but I do not know how to
do this. Help?

Call them and arrange for a free meeting with a SCORE counselor to discuss opening an answering service. SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). SCORE has 389 chapters in locations throughout the United States and its territories, with 10,500 volunteers nationwide. How to start a home based I have been seriously
considering starting my own
answering service for local
companies. I just don't know
where to start and how to get
started! I would start of
Part-time so I would take
between 5-8 clients to start.
But eventually I want to go
full-time with up to 20
