How can I record XM Satellite Looks the the boss started
blocking my XM satellite radio
at work. How would I record a
stream on my home computer,
and then send it to my office
email and listen to it the
next day? It would have to be
like a 5 hour recording.

First of all are you talking about the XM radio that plays through your DirecTv receiver? If so I think you may have a couple of options. If you have coxial cable (single black cable with nuts on the end) from your receiver to your TV you can plug RCA cables (red & white for audio) from the audio out on the receiver to the accessory input on the stereo receiver. Another option is to hook up the RCA cables from the audio out (if available) on the back of the TV to the accessory input on the back of the stereo receiver. Both of these options will make it possible to listen to your TV through your stereo also. |

How would I go about I'm not looking for opinions

you can buy one at many different stores....target, best buy, wal mart, etc. or order online. set it up, then call xm (or go online) and give them your radio id to get activated. $12.95 a month. |
