Whats the difference between i have a research paper on,
what i though was, the Chicago
World's Fair... But i looked
it up and i found two
instances. One: the World's
Columbian Exposition hosted in
Chicago in 1893 and Two:
Chicago's World Fair hosted
in, obviously, Chicago in
1933. What is the difference
between these two fairs?

Without pics, it's kind of hard to say. But based on previous ebay sales I've had, I'll say $10-$25.00 ish range, again depending on what it looks like and condition as well. |

The next World's Fair will be in Zaragosa, Spain in 2008. I doubt that New York City will want to sponsor another fair, as the one in 1964/65 lost millions of dollars. As for other fairs in the USA: Seattle, Spokane, and Knoxville barely broke even, San Antonio lost money, and New Orleans went bankrupt even before the fair closed! World's Fairs are incredibly expensive, costing many millions of dollars to produce, and most US cities and states simply cannot afford to sponsor them. And, the US is no longer a member of the Bureau of International Expositions, because we didn't pay our dues. So, no official sanction is currently possible for a World's Fair in the US. |
