Questions/Answers
Where in the alamo did DaveyCrockett and William Travisdie?
*I need to label it on the map, we watched a movie on it but i didn't catch where he died*
Crockett is generally believed to have been taken prisoner and died by execution after the battle. The below is an eyewitness account of Travis's death by J.E. de la Peña (one of Santa Anna's soldiers). The linked website has info on both deaths. How accurate any accounts are is a matter of some debate as the Mexicans did not recognize most of the men there and some of the bodies were destroyed beyond recognition (and all were burned). "Travis was seen to hesitate, but not about the death that he would choose. He would take a few steps and stop, turning his proud face toward us to discharge his shots; he fought like a true soldier. Finally he died, but he died after having traded his life very dearly. None of his men died with greater heroism, and they all died. Travis behaved as a hero; one must do him justice, for with a handful of men without discipline, he resolved to face men used to war and much superior in numbers, without supplies, with scarce munitions, and against the will of his subordinates. He was a handsome blond, with a physique as robust as his spirit was strong."

Can u give me some info on thespeech william barret travisgave in the battle of alamo?
I'd like to know the reasons why and to whom exactly was he speaking to when he read/wrote this. And also what events lead up to him writing the speech? Links would be helpful.
I guess you did not take Texas History? Or if you dd, must be asleep when this came up. He was speaking to the people at the Alamo right before Santa Anna got there. He was wanting to know who will stay or leave..so he drew a line on the ground with his sword and asked those who wanted to stay step over the line..Go read your Texas History books for other info.
