If you know some figures or specifics, I'd appreciate them very much. Is there a major difference in price between Komatsu\CAT\Volvo manufacturers? What about Eastern block or Chinese manufacturers and the companies listed above. David I found some interesting information so far. Komatsu/Volvo/Cat are competitevely priced. The articulated dump trucks brand new cost about half a million dollars each. So do common sized excavators. half a million is a magic number for heavy equipment - if you got that much, you can get a new anything it seems.
