How can i change a unicodedocument in english, to aregular easy read english doc?
If there isn't a way to do this, how do I read unicode text? I have a document that is 12 pages of unicode text and I need to be able to read what it says. Is there any kind of website I can so the conversion on? Thanks!
What are you talking about? Every home computer system at home today reads Unicode. Indeed they use Unicode at the base level. Most word processors today also use Unicode as their basic character set. Now there is more than one type of Unicode coding. Unicode text might be in UTF-8 or in UTF-16 Big End or in UTF-16 Small End. But you haven’t told us what kind of “document” you are looking at, a plain text document, an HTML document, a word processor document, or what. Where did you get this document from? You can try to convert at http://rishida.net/scripts/uni view/conversion.php and see what you get.
How do I get language Unicodecharacters to appear correctlyon my Computer?
When I try to view websites with certain Unicode language characters on websites (like Wikipedia) I can't actually see the characters. All I get is domino-like boxes with numbers in them, like this:
You need to download the appropriate fonts. There is an excellent gallery of foreign fonts (including Klingon!) at http://www.wazu.jp/ By the way, be wary of Sexy T's answer. All the URLs point to identical page matter, and the required info is not there.
How many people now can writein Filippino unicode?
I have seen the writing before and I have heard of some tribes that are still isolated from modern technology. Is it possible that anyone out there can still write in Philippino unicode instead of the roman alphabet? If non-Chinese people learn the Chinese characters than there must be some pinoy like me that can write in ancient styled writing.
I lived in the Philippines for two years then returned to Canada. I learned alibata (aka Baybayin) while I was there. I can still read and write it (writing it is the easy part). I know a couple people who can do the same. People in Ilo Ilo, Palawan, etc. know how to read and write too. It just takes a lot of practise.
