How can you get a sub box in
an older truck with no
extended cab? Just the driver
seat and passenger seat then
the bed right behind it with
no room behind the seats.

I have fit 4 12" subs in a chevy s-10 standard cab with adequate airspace. There is a really cool trick to it, but it is time consuming, and you have to work with fiberglass. I charge lots of $$ at my shop for that! You may be able to find some stuff online about it. Some people call it a 5 sided box, or california box. You basically build some framework with 2x4's and MDF liquid nailing and screwing it to the framing and back wall of the truck. Then you use fiberglass matting to line and reinforce the box cavity. Then you make a baffle board out of 2 layers of MDF, countersinking the subwoofer. Once you are done carpeting, it is a permanent structure, and it looks like the factory would have put it there! Oh yeah... it POUNDS! On a small truck, I would stay at 2 to 3 12's. Four was tough. On a full size, 3 or 4 12's or even 2 to 3 15's, no problem. If you want some more detailed info, contact me. |

How do I join my new truck to All my life I thought that
having a truck is profitable,
I am planning to buy one soon,
but I don't know how to put it
to work. First of all I am not
a truck driver, neither do I
know anything about the
business. I think is a good
idea to join the truck to a
trucking company, but how do I
do that?. Also I don't know
how profitable it would be.
The one I want to buy is a big
one.
