I doubt it if any movies were made about Mussolini and Stalin, Chaplin's The Great Dictator was about Hitler but I do not recall any others. Maybe Orwell's 1984 is about Stalin but no one ever mentions it http://www.imdb.com/title/tt00 87803/ Here is a list of movies about totalitarian: http://www.spout.com/members/0 /tags/totalitarianism/MemberTa gFilms.aspx http://www.haaretz.co.il/hasen /pages/ShArt.jhtml?itemNo=2516 84 http://www.oregoncatalyst.com/ index.php?/archives/237-Jasons -Summer-Movie-Review.html |

I'd stay away from the obvious Hitler and Stalin. I'm sure your teacher will have MORE than enough of them. How about looking into Pol Pot and the Killing Fields of Cambodia? You can then talk about the results of a totalitarian regime. Good luck. |

The political system is quite apparent in the novel. You would easily be able to answer your own question if you read the book. |
