Who is represented by the ramcaught in a thicket in thestory in the Bible aboutAbraham about to slay Isaac?
Abraham told Isaac they were going to sacrifice a lamb. Instead Isaac got tied up. When he was about to be slayed, he was stopped and it was pointed out to him that a nearby ram caught in a thicket was what actually should be sacrificed. So Abraham sacrificed this ram after taking it out of the thicket.Who is Abraham a type of. Who does Isaac represent. Who does the lamb never sacrificed represent and who does the actual ram sacrificed represent?
This story is a giant neon sign pointing to Jesus. You have to recognize that God, being God, knew ahead of time that, if He asked Abraham to sacrifice the son he loved so dearly, he would do so. He knew Abraham's faith was strong enough to sacrifice even the child God had promised promised to him in his old age. The point is that Abraham didn't know his faith was that strong until God showed him. And the even greater point God was making was that, like Abraham, He was also willing to sacrifice His only Son out of love. God used this situation to make a gigantic point to us: He is willing to sacrifice everything for our sake. Just like Isaac, we were so devastated by our own sin that we were lying flat on our backs with a knife pointing straight at our hearts. God won't stand for that. He puts on the brakes, sends His Son to Earth as a man, and replaces our bodies with His. Knife to His chest. A ram in place of Isaac. Christ in our stead. It's the most famous Bible verse of all, acted out by real people in a real situation: "This is how much God loved the world [Isaac, humanity, you]: He gave his Son, his one and only Son [Jesus, the ram, sacrificed in Isaac's place]. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life." John 3:16

HELP! what is the best way toremove a large thicket ofbamboo? preferable not havingit grow back?
in my backyard, there are several thickets of pervasive bamboo, and i need a good way to remove them without them growing back again.
The "best" way? Use dynamite or larger explosives. You can NOT dig it up, unless you remove approx 3 feet of the entire surface layer. The roots will stay alive, it has no heart to kill. A backhoe might work, just make sure you dig up and destroy EVERY bit of it.
