Questions/Answers
I am thinking twice about lawschool. To all the lawyers outthere, can you tell me, is itworth it? $, time?
I thought I wanted to do Environmental Law but now I am thinking twice. Law school is really expensive and really demanding, not to add that I am only one person and don't really think I can make much of a difference. Lawyers are typically over-worked and misserable. Am I wrong? Is the time, money, heartache worth it?
is the secretary in greasemrs. Darbus in high schoolmusical??..... is it the sameactress?
my husband and i happened to cach Grease II on tv tonight and he thinks the secretary in Grease I and the play director in Grease II is the same actress as Mrs. Darbus in High School Musical. I disagree. Can anyone help!!!
Alyson Reed, the woman who plays Mrs. Darbus, is not in either Grease.
Is the University of Floridaconsidered a top school?
I have dreams of going MIT or Stanford, and I have a chance at it, but I'm highly doubtful. I live in Florida, so I am most likely going to UF. I get in practially free, too. I want to go to a well-respected school. Now I know UF isn't an Ivy League or MIT, but is it up there with the "top" schools? How does it compare with Georgia Tech?
Academically it is nowhere near the top colleges. If you look at the highly respected unbiased Academic Ratings of the Princeton Review (they do this for their livelihood), they rate University of Florida at a 72 academically. Georgia Tech is only rated a 74. By comparison other top colleges get much higher marks: Harvard: 99 MIT: 97 Williams: 98 Holy Cross: 98 Middlebury: 98 Yale: 96 Notre Dame: 92 Georgetown: 92
