Sebaceous Cyst ?
I recently noticed a bubble gum ball size knot on my dog's left upper limb area and it feels moveable like a sebaceous cyst, it isn't red or shows any signs of infection. Does anyone have any experience with these and what should i do? She is a 4 year old Silky Terrier and had a pea size one about a year ago on her back which disappeared. It does not seem to be causing her any discomfort when palpated either.

Some of them go away on their own, but some will grow and need the vet to remove.. Just watch it, and if it grows, or become sensitive, take her to the vet..If she is unspayed, the most dangerous type will grow when she cycles... Westies are known for having a lot of cysts.

Can a sebaceous cyst beremoved above someone
About 18 months ago I had a sebaceous cyst removed just on my solar plexus, however, I have something that feels like a sebaceous cyst above my eyebrow. However, with the sebaceous cyst on my chest, I had it surgically removed with a local anaesthetic. My question is; can I have one removed if it develops above my eyebrow?
You can certainly have it removed - you may well be able to have it removed under local anaesthetic - go, see your doc before the little critter gets a big critter|!
How can I get direct heat on asebaceous cyst inside the ear?
My husband has a sebaceous cyst in his ear canal, and I'd like to try using heat to treat it. How can I get DIRECT heat on the cyst specifically? I can use a heating pad, but I'm thinking "concentrated" heat right on the cyst. Any ideas? He has been seen by an ear doctor, and will have the cyst removed next month under General Anesthesia, but if I can maybe avoid this by home treatment, I'd like to. Thanks.
how about using a blow dryer on low heat? sometimes its recommended for ear aches
