The descriptions of the cognitive limitations people face in comprehending their socio-political and cultural environments, proposes that people must inevitably apply an evolving catalogue of general stereotypes to a complex reality, rendered Public Opinion a seminal text in the fields of media studies, political science, and social psychology. What should politicians do if Which way should a politician
do if the majority is wrong?
The right thing or what the
public wants to happen? Doing
the right thing will make life
better for everyone but going
against public opinion might
start a riot or worse -
loosing re-election.
Is there a way for a
politician to do the right
thing without loosing
re-election? Why does the
public hate it if a politician
does the right thing?
Shouldn't doing the right
thing = more votes? Right now,
doing the right thing = lost
votes.

They take them all they can into consideration and then take the ones to their best advantage. In other words they don't see consider consideration as the need to be consciderate. Although they consider their own considerations. lol That is so often the case in a competitive world view/system. A more balanced system considers all people and future consquences or any other factors for the best overall decisions. |
