How to report property taxeson tax refund when changedproperty during the year?
We sold our house and bought another one in the middle of the year. What property tax amount should i report on my income tax return? The full amount of taxes for the new property or should I report the pro-rated amount I gave the buyer of my old property and the amount paid on the new property minus the pro-rated amount the sellers gave me on my new property? Hope this makes sense......
You claim the amount you actually paid in property tax on both places.
What is sole benefit ofproperty and debt in adivorce?
I live in Minnesota going through a dissolution of marraige. My understanding is marital property and debt is divided 50/50. Each party keeps all property and debt prior to the marraige. I believe like a car is considered sole property when that person is the only one who uses it. I believe the debt still will need to be paid to me even though it is consolidated in other loans.
What is a practical use forthe identity property ofaddition and multiplication?
The identity property entails: 0 + A = A The identity property of multiplication entails: 0 * A = 0 Adding 0 to a term results in the same term. Multiplying zero by a term results in 0. Are there any practical applications to this property? In other words, in what instance would you use this property? I realize that you would use it simply when you add or multiply by zero. But, are there any other algebraic applications? Thanks.
