Questions/Answers
'Project Gutenburg' - does ithave anything by PATRICIACABOT?
I don't know, I checked but I'm not sure If you have another site that does have her, 10 Points!! Thanks P.S: {I've read Kiss the Bride and Educating Caroline, which is all my library presents to me} GOD! Isn't there ANYWHERE where you can read NON CLASSIC BOOKS?!
Gutenberg is great but it is all books older than 1923. Patricia Cabot's books are under copyright. Any site that does have them is illegal and subject to copyright penalties. " In a civil suit, an infringer may be liable for a copyright owner's actual damages plus any profits made from the infringement. Alternatively, the copyright owner may avoid proving actual damage by electing a statutory damage recovery of up to $30,000 or, where the court determines that the infringement occurred willfully, up to $150,000. The actual amount will be based upon what the court in its discretion considers just. (17 U.S.C. 504) Violation of copyright law is also considered a federal crime when done willfully with an intent to profit. Criminal penalties include up to ten years imprisonment depending on the nature of the violation. (No Electronic Theft Act, 18 U.S.C. 2319)"

Are ebooks on GutenbergProject compatible with Sony'sReader Digital Book?
Im thinking of buying Sony's Reader Digital Book PRS-505, but only if I can use the books that I download from the Gutenburg Project. Does anyone know if they're compatible?
Yes! Project Gutenberg books are available in plain text, so you can use the material to create ebooks that may be read on almost any device or you can just read add the text file to the reader. Many of these files have already been converted into Sony's format (LRF) for easy readability. Here are a couple sites with free ebooks available: http://manybooks.net/ http://www.mobileread.com/foru ms/ebooks.php?order=desc&sort= dateline
