It really sounds like a Print To File printer is set as your default printer in Windows instead of your HP, so that whenever you print you are actually creating files with the print information in them on your computer's hard drive (you can delete them if you ever find them). Hopefully you've installed your printer (software, interface cable, etc.) onto your computer already, if not you'll need to do that first. Usually when installing a printer it will ask if you want this to be your default printer, check the box or select Yes as needed. This should take care of it, but if you didn't when you installed then you'll need to do this: To check and change the default printer, open a document you wish to print, go to the menu bar at top and click on File, move down the pop-up window to Print... and click on it. In the Print pop-up window find your HP printer in the window at top and right-click on it and then click on Set as Default Printer then select Print or Cancel at the bottom. Now whenever you click on the print icon it will print out on your printer instead. Best of luck. |

in word 2003 go to File > Page Setup select the Paper tab. Then click the Print Options button. There's an option there to include background text/images when you print (Background Colors and Images) in word 2007...don't know but I'm sure it's there somewhere :-) |

How do I print multiple images Hi there! I have about 30
images in high resolution (600
DPI) but small actual
dimension (every image is
about 8 * 5 cm), and I need to
print them. I'm looking for a
program that allows me to
print some of them on a single
sheet (for example 9 in a
sheet, in a 3 by 3 matrix)
without losing resolution (I
need high quality) in their
actual size.
Do you know some program that
could suit my need?

Just go into explorer and select the images you want, right-click on them and select print, then choose wallet prints or whatever the option is to get 9 on one page. |
