O.K., I just adopted what I
believe to be a pregnant
*****. I know how to help
deliver pups, and I'm going to
take her to the vet. However,
I want to know if there is
anyway of looking at a dog
(not feeling her tummy) and
being able to come up with a
ruff estimate of how many
puppies she'll have. Yes, the
vet will tell me, but I want
more creative answers than
that. (she's a boxer).
because the shelter I
volunteer at is a piece of
crap, and they thought she had
already had her puppies.

Its kind a hard to figure out how many she'll have unless she has an ultrasound at the vet. Which costs about $125. My dog just had puppies a week ago and when i took her to the vet i asked if they could feel around to figure out how many she'll have and they said it was hard to say until she had the ultrasound. But even with he ultrasound its still not very accurate |

before her period and now,20
days later, shes having these

It does happen,it mostly depends on if you ovulate late or early in your cycle.My sister she got pg on the last day of her period. |
