one of my freinds told me that
her sister had a baby and she
had to get the baby examined
and the doctor had to stick
his arm all the way to his
elbow to see where the head
is...has this ever happened to
you moms?
shes 6'3"...but do they really
stick up their whole hand to
feel where the baby is? why
cant they do an ultrasound?

No, they usually just push on your belly to make sure the baby isn't breeched. If she was very far along, he or she may have been stripping her membranes though |

lol don't you HATE health class. haha i went through it in high school so..i understand. lets see. im 36 weeks and 4 days pregnant. I went through morning sickness that just consisted of nausea instead of puking for the first 2 months of being pregnant. As i got farther in pregnancy i went into preterm labor 3 times where they gave me lots and lots of fluids and the labor finally stopped. I have gotten swelling now just this week. O..and im 19....i was 18 when i got pregnant!!! Good luck with your project. haha...i know school sucks but its great when its finally over!!! |

What is a chemical pregnancy I took an at home pregnancy
test last week and tested
positive, but then had my
period a few days later. I
would have conceived between
September 20th and 24th, and
my period came 6 days ago. I
started reading up on this and
found a lot of questions about
chemical pregnancies. How do
they happen? And how long will
the pregnancy hormone stay in
my system if the egg has
already been flushed out? I
can't get into my gyno until
next week and I need to know
what's going on now.

A "chemical pregnancy" is just another term for an early miscarriage. Many times this happens without the woman even knowing she is pregnant. Usually the reason for this is because of abnormalities with the developing fetus or due to the embryo not implanting properly within the womb lining itself. Your doctor will probably advise you to wait for 2 - 3 months before trying again to conceive as it can take a while for your hormone level to return to its normal level. Usually it takes longer if you miscarry further along. So given the fact that you were only a few weeks along it should only be a week or two. Try not to worry.... it is perfectly normal and happens more often than a lot of people realise as it often occurs very early on after conception and most people assume it is their period but a little late. I have had this happen myself and have gone on to have a perfectly healthy baby since then so it does not mean that anything is wrong with you. Hope this helps and good luck =) |

I would check with the dr.. that is the most I can suggest.. It also could be hormones. It all depends on if you feel this is a normal for your body.
i went to see the doctor for pregnancy sonogram, and the doctor saw the baby's bag, but didn't see the baby , i want to know if the baby can hide inside my body.
