...thumb|250px|People at a Dutch train stationThe English noun people has two distinct fields of application:
- as a countable noun, a group of humans, either with unspecified traits, or specific characteristics (e.g. the people of Spain or the people of the Plains).
- as a mass noun, people is the suppletive plural of person. However, the word persons is sometimes used in place of people, especially when it would be ambiguous with its collective sense (e.g. missing persons instead of people). It can collectively refer to all humans or it can be used to identify a certain ethnic or religious group. For example, "people of color" is a phrase used in North America to describe non-whites.Safire, William. "On language: People of color" The New York Times, November 20, 1988. I am really lightskinned and
multiracial.My mom is black
and my dad is white.People
always think I am a white boy
even white people think I am
white.When I tell people that
I,m mixed with black nobody
believes me.
I do have lots of white
features like a long narrow
nose,thin lips,very pale
skin,mostly straight hair with
wavy and some curly,hairy body
and big ears.
Is there a way I can get

Why do people ask people from Why do people ask people from
the INTERNET important medical
questions concerning
themselves?
I am baffled at some of the
medical questions I see people
asking about themselves on
here, especially when they
have already been given an
answer from there doctor which
they have visited on the
issue. Why do they not ask
there doctor these questions,
or get a second opinion from
another doctor. I am amazed
that people would turn to
people from the internet, who
they do not know, to answer a
question concerning there
health, and welfare. What are
your views on this?

Some people are asking out of curiosity, maybe someone can give them some insight, or maybe someone has experience the same thing, or things to think about before going to the doctor. But when some people come on here and ask what shall I do my baby has had fever for days now, or questions like that .. is beyond me. Those people are just stupid. Common sense would tell anyone with brains when to ask and when to call or head to the doctor. |

Being Black is being able to produce Black. White people defined us during slavery and continue to define us as Black no matter how light we were/are. My daughter and grandaughter are always confused for white with their straight blond hair and blue eyes. My grandaughter likes to have fun with it and grabs her grandfather, who is dark , and shows off with the kisses. Now that multicultural is in, you can be whatever you want to be if you're Black and White. Half and half is for coffee, not for people. Most light African Americans are a result of light marrying light. I'm a very fair African American and I know that BLACK ancestors kept us alive. If your white relative kept you alive, you can call yourself whatever you want to! The people who say you can't be black must have just come to this country recently. Go to Alabama, Mississippi, or La. and they will tell you what you are. Most Blacks have White and Indian in them, Love them all.
