FDR was not a good president, and his socialist legacy harms us to this day. he was an aspiring dictator who ruled for longer than what was gentlemanly (4 terms) and tried to circumvent the Constitution by packing the Supreme Court with Democrats (1937 Judiciary Reorganization Bill). his New Deal policies, such as a 90% tax on the wealthiest Americans, extended the Depression at least 7 years longer than it needed to last. also, FDR was a communist sympathizer who cozied up with Stalin and allowed the Soviets to take East Berlin. |

I need information about the I'm having project
difficulties, & I was
wondering if you have any
information supporting the
idea that America provoked
Japan into starting the Pearl
Harbor Attack.
It would be good if you could
try to give good sources, or
just directly type some good
information that supports it.
Any help is appreciated...
thanks! :]
I'm being neutral about all of
it. ;P
I'm not on any side... I just

Ok well basically, Japan was expanding at a rapid rate. They had taken over areas such as Vietnam, Indonesia, etc.. When they began to expand into U.S. territories, America put their foot down. Companies like Dole and Coca Cola were starting to fear that Japan would take over, so the U.S. decided to step in the way of Japan's expansion. So basically the U.S. was the only nation standing in the way of Japan's expansion. So we didn't exactly provoke them, we just posed a threat to them. Another interesting thing, if Japan never bombed Pearl Harbor, the Axis probably would have won the war. Hitler wanted nothing to do with America because he knew that if America entered the war, the Axis powers would be easily defeated due to the fact they would have to fight a war on two fronts. So Germany would have never given the U.S. a reason to join the war, it was Japan that screwed up on that part. |
