Parliament?
How the HELL can MP's have voted to have Parliament exempt from the Smoking ban? They push this on the rest of us and give us no chose in the matter, but its fine for them to have an exemption. The bloody hypocrites. They should lead by example not "do as I say, not as I do" MP's should be banned from Smoking just like the rest of us.

What is your opinion onSwedish parliament refusing torecognize the events of1914-1918 as genocide?
"On June 12, 2008, the Swedish parliament, with a vote 245 to 37 (1 abstain, 66 absent), rejected a call for recognition of the events of 1914-1918 as genocide in the Ottoman Empire." Can it be considered as a direct support to the Turkish position?

What do you think ofBangladesh parliamentbuilding?
How would you rate the Bangladesh parliament building designed by Louis I Khan, if you have not seen it then look it up on Google, I believe it to be one of the best modern parliament / non parliament building in the world.
I am from Bangladesh and I wish I could have reinforced your belief that Bangladesh parliament building designed by Louis I Khan is a masterpiece! I had been inside this building several times, both during the parliament sessions going on and during off-time. To me it is a waste of precious space and also the maintenance is not an easy task considering our hot and humid weather. High wooden doors and big sizes window panes are getting buckled / dirty and there is not a single sign of modern gadgets those we can see in any ordinary airports, except for the gruesome 'security arches' and air-conditioning of the main hall. I would not even open my mind on this had you not asked this question, since it was a painful experience for me to witness this colossus (statue much bigger than life size) thing might have served the larger size ego of our the then government who allowed this kind of wastage on the largest farmland of Asia! However, I do respect your views and hope that we can make better use of this building than to have the merrymaking and mockering acts those we saw in many years now since its inauguration. PS. To me the only meaningful event that was performed when the first SARC (now SAARC) head of Governments meeting was held during late President Ziaur Rahman's time. Can we think of having this as a higher institution for learning, like any University or research centre?
