...The Pacific Northwest is a region in the northwest of North America, bound by the Pacific Ocean to the west. There are several partially overlapping definitions of the region, but they generally include the Canadian province of British Columbia and the U.S. states of Washington and Oregon, and often including Southeast Alaska, Idaho, western Montana and northernmost California. The term "Pacific Northwest" should not be confused with the Northwest Territory (also known as the Great Northwest, a historic term in the United States) or the Northwest Territories of Canada. The term Northwest Coast is often used when referring only to the coastal regions. The term Northwest Plateau has been used to describe the inland regions, although they are commonly referred to as "the Interior" in British Columbia and the Inland Empire in the United States. to east winds. How might this

This is where you can bait the teacher. The Quiz is for prevailing winds. High and low pressure will present them selves constantly. If there is a low pressure area the wind in the Northern Hemisphere is going to generate a clockwise rotation and realative to your position the wind will be West to East. The prevailing wind will move this clockwise wind pass your position if you remain stationary till it passes and the wind will appear to have changed from East to West when it had not actually done so. When understanding world wide weather you must go to a different school. There is a Universal belief in that the Weather is a factor of Thermodynamics. What you see is what you get. Understand that the Earth is a sphere. It is round and it is moving. The Sun in the early day rises in the East and sets in the WEST. In order for that to happen the Earth must be in counter-clockwise rotation about the stationary object of the Sun. The Sun is moving too but thats another class. Now look at a globe and mark in your mind the NORTH and SOUTH, Tropic of Cancer, The Equator, and the Tropic of Capicorn. Write them down and look up the diffinition for each even if you think you already know. Now, take a magnet in hand. Place a sheet of paper over it and sprinkle it with Iron dust. Study the lines of flux and if you could hold the paper and magnet beside the globe without making a mess you would get a picture in your mind how this magnetism works. Since your magnet is most like a bar you will not be able to see what I am going to tell you. Each line is a collection of dust particles that are individulized by Negative to Positve chains. Each line is separated and is said to be in Domain. A space between each line is void of dust. This void is antimatter. Antimatter is energy without mass. This is taking too long to explain. Global warming is the result of such a magnetic device now being tested. |
