Oxford College is a smaller (about 700 students) 2-year "branch campus" where the students automatically continue onto main campus as long as they have a 2.5 GPA. It is also much easier to get in than main campus (Emory College). The Oxford campus was the original campus for Emory University many years ago before it moved to Atlanta. The Oxford campus is in Oxford,GA about 45 minutes from main campus. The school is not very well known, but its popularity is gaining quickly. Some consider it a "back-door" to main campus Emory and tend to look down on it. |

You need to have very good general knowledge about relevant subjects - but they really love it if you have a particular interest in 1 or 2 topics that you can talk for ages about - you should do lots of research into something that especially interests you, go to historical places, talk to experts etc. |
