->Europe and when flying

What airline are you looking at? Are you looking at the same airline for the roundtrip? There are two things involved here. First is the currency conversion. This really applies if you are looking at two different carriers. When I purchase tickets to Europe from America, the prices on British Airways are much more expensive because I'm paying in pounds. The same applies if you are looking at a carrier that is a latin american carrier. You're paying their currency rate which is much cheaper. Second is just the basic supply and deman cycle. The Europe>Latin America is more of a tourist destination than the other way around. It's also based on the sale fares in the time span. One week an airline may have half of an airplane on sale whereas other weeks they are more expensive. |

I know there are a lot black
people in Latin-America that
speak Spanish, but I don't
really think of them as
hispanic, because their
ancestors were originally from
Africa. They were not from
Spain.

mostly those "black" people you're talking about are from the dominican republic. many parts of every country have a collection of light-skinned and dark-skinned people, it just depends on what part you live. so technically they're not called black or white. black mostly refers to people who have ancestors originating form africa and white mostly refers to caucasians from europe or whatever. we (im guatemalan-american) are refered to as hispanics. nothing more or less. |
