online degree?
i'm planning master degree online but: 1- do i have to travel for the final exams? 2- what will be written on my certificate that distinguesh it from home land certificates?
It depends on where you get the degree ...some go through a regular college and you get a degree from that college and it's not any different. If it's from an on line college then you get a degree from say Phoenix On line and that's what the degree says and most everyone knows that's an on line college. You should check your local colleges and see what is offered. Some classes are different ..all on line the final exams and everything on line but other classes may expect you to come in for proctored exams. Good luck anyway!! I'm taking an on line course and it's really hard but it's a math class so that would be... I've taken other classes on line and through video and they are not too bad if you are disciplined to study.
Will an online degree combinedwith traditional collegediploma have value?
First, I am fully aware that an online school should be fully accreditated for the online degree to be respected. However, will having a 3 Year Business Adminstration Diploma first, then transferring credits from that Diploma to an Online Degree make the degree more respectable. Will it be more respected if I were to have a Diploma from an actual college, to go with the one done online. In the end, after the transferred credits there would be a 3 year diploma from the college, and an 3 year online degree. The online degree would most likely be a Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Management, or a Bachelor of Human Resources Going the online route, it would only take about a year to do. So in total, I would do 3 years of college, and 1 Year online and walk away with 6 years of education in 4 years. I'd also have a degree to add to my resume
LOL why spend three years of your time on that garbage? Just go to a Uni/College like everyone else instead of being all weird and trying to cut corners. Part of what they look for in graduates is social skills, independence, and the university experience all in. You may or may not, do academically equivalent work, but there is nobody monitoring your progress in the same way. I doubt much will make it more respectable, you are clutching at straws.
What is the difference betweenonline degree and usual degreefor employers?
Please answer who knows about level of education which we cah get from online degree? I mean level of knowledge and difference between standard of normal degree which we get at university?
My father is a manager. He does not recognize an undergraduate degree in anything. He does recognize a graduate degree earned online if the undergraduate degree was earned in residence. Each employer is different and each online degree program is different with some having very good reputations and some having less than desirable reputations. The RN to BSN is very popular and is well accepted because a student cannot earn their RN online as it can only be done in residence due to the nature of the education required. However once the RN is indeed a licensed RN and has a few years of employment an online BSN is generally well accepted. Some online programs cost as much if not more than traditional residental programs.
