...Ohio () is a Midwestern state of the United States. The thirty-fourth largest state by area in the U.S., it is the seventh-most populous with nearly 11.5 million residents. Ohio, whose name was derived from the Seneca word ohi:yo’, meaning "large creek,"Mithun (1999), p. 312 was formed primarily from the Ohio Territory and was admitted to the Union as the seventeenth state (and the first under the Northwest Ordinance) on March 1, 1803. Ohio is known as the "Buckeye State" for its prevalence of Ohio Buckeye trees, and, as such, Ohioans are also known as "Buckeyes." Read full entry

Ohio isn't that bad this time of year! It's a little hot, but in Columbus there are some fun things to do: High Street has the Gallery Hop the first Saturday of every month. Check out www.shortnorth.org, lots of wine tasting, live music, bar hopping, oh yeah, and art..... High Street also has the Arena District bars, lots of great bars, restaurants and live music any night of the week. www.arena-district.com There's also our great zoo in Hilliard, the Columbus Zoo. It's getting bigger every day! We have Easton Town Center which is a huge outdoor mall with tons of shopping you won't find anywhere else in Columbus, lots of night life & music & happy hour specials. There is also The Funny Bone & Gameworks located at Easton. I've seen J Medicine Hat & Joe Rogan there. www.eastontowncenter.com If you like live concerts, check out The LC (lifestyle community pavilion) right by Nationwide Arena. There are always big bands coming there and its within walking distance of lots of bars. Oh, and the biggest radio station in town always has up to date information on the best bars & shows coming to town. www.wnci.com There are tons of fairly interesting fairs & festivals in C-bus, too, check The Columbus Dispatch Weekender, http://www.dispatch.com/dispat ch/content/weekender/index.htm l for your specific dates. |

The Rock and Roll hall of fame is pretty cool and there are several interesting things located close by including a science center, airport, sporting arenas. check out the metro-parks, part of which is a national park. Great hiking and canoeing. Go to Holmes county which has one of the largest Amish populations in the country. Great craft shops, restaurants, local winereys, great cheese and sight seeing. The pro football hall of fame is an hour south of Cleveland in Canton. Lots of sports history there. |

What is the Ohio documenation I just purchased a new car and
the dealer told me that the
state of Ohio charges $250 for
a documentation fee. They said
just a month ago it was $100.
Is this fee real and are
dealers assessed for all of
the cars they sell by Ohio?

%^%^%^ I think it depends on the value of the car. |
