New York??
I'm gonna be planning a trip to New York pretty soon here, any suggestions on fun things to do? Or any good stores to shop?
I think you've got to check out Macy's in Herald Square and then Bloomingdales at E. 59th. You could window-shop in places like Tiffany's and Saks 5th Avenue. Downtown near Delancey Street you can get designer stuff at good discounts. Many of those stores are closed on Saturday because they are run by Orthodox Jews. Fun things? Depends what kind of fun. NYC has everything!
The New York Times applies aneffect to portraits featuredin the newspaper. How could Ireplicate it?
The New York Times applies an effect to portraits featured in the newspaper. How could I replicate it inside Photoshop? Or, if the Times uses a specialized in-house filter or something, could you suggest a good effect to give portraits in a newspaper a clear look that looks good in newspaper ink, like the one in the New York Times?
