If you have access to "connect" on the infra-net the vacancies for all Networkrail are on there on the top of the screen. Or ask your manager to print off a list of vacancies and a application from off the Networkrail portal. The portal is on Networkrail infra-net site and has all the forms on there.

How much would it cost toupgrade the rail network?
How much would it cost to upgrade the rail network? Let's say every freight railroad that is used by Amtrak is upgraded with an additional mainline track. How much would that cost? Do you think there would be much benefit?

Rango's estimate of $1 million per mile of track in the U.S. is pretty close - that is if we are talking freight. Now if you want to haul passengers at high speed like Amtrak does in the Northeast Corridor, electrification is a must. Now the cost goes up to $8 million per mile. Let's see, if you want to build one track between Chicago and Denver, it would be about $10,000,000,000. Smart investment? Probably not.

How do I get from Charles deGaulle airport to Disney Parison the RER rail network ?
I am travelling from Charles de Gaulle airport to Disney Paris in August via the RER rail network. How do I do this ? There seems to be multiple stations with the CDG name ! Which one is the airport one, which teminal is it in and how long does it take ? Many, many thanks in advance ...
The VEA Airport shuttle bus. links Roissy/Charles de Gaulle airport with 6 Disney Hotels every 15 minutes to 1 hour, 7 days a week. The fare is 16 € for adults and 13 € for children under 12. this is the easiest way to go. Alternatively you can take the RER B commuter train marked "Direction : Saint-Remy-les-Chevreuse" to the Chatelet-Les Halles station and change to the RER A line marked "Direction : Marne-la-Vallee Chessy" and take it to the end of the line which is the Marne-la-Vallee station. The park entrance is a few minutes walk. All the CDG RER stations are on the same line. It makes no difference which you go to. The trip takes about 80 minutes, allowing some time for changing trains.
