Can a municipality send a The council members of the
municipality were I live (Pa.)
mailed a letter to the
residents with their
signatures on it. They stated
they supported a certain
political candidate. Certain
residents that was not in
support of their candidate
were excluded from the mailing
list. There was no mention in
the minutes about sending this
letter or how it would be paid
for. Is this legal?
This is the second time this
has happened. I requested a
copy of the first letter and
was ignored.

How do I find out that stuff?
I obviously know the basics,
like my county, city, and
township, but I don't know
exactly what my ward,
municipality, and district
are. Is there some way to find
this out online?
