Is it possible to turn ameeting to discuss goals intoa fun/pleasant meeting?
Every meeting I've participated to discuss results and goals is stressful. The managers that have achieved their goals are satisfied but the other ones are get very annoyed.This type of meeting is necessary for the company, however I'd like to try to turn it into a more pleasant or even fun meeting. Would you have any suggestions?
I don't have a clue. There is no way to make a meeting about goals and results fun. If you do, you take the seriousness out of the meeting. Certainly there are changes in the location that can be made and you can make it more pleasant. The question is why are the managers not making their goals. Are the goals attainable? Are they set with their agreement? is the ones that make the goal, sandbagging the goals to meet them.
What to wear when meeting myboyfriends parents?
I need to know what exactly I should wear when meeting my boyfriends parents! I asked this question the other day and everybody said to wear slacks and a silky top (pretty much) after I said I didnt want to overdo it. Here are a few more details then the last question i asked: I am 17 years old so i dont want to go granny style. I dont want to wear slacks because were not meeting in a fancy surrounding. I am meeting her at an airport because my boyfriend and I are moving out to where she lives. My boyfriend is just wearing pajama pants but I want to impress her. I like style so I dont want to be plain, but I dont want anyone suggesting 10 pounds of makeup and jewelry either. So could somebody pretty please help me?! I will be going out in May or early June so it will be in the high 60's low 70's. THANKS IN ADVANCE TO ALL WHO ANSWER! Also, this is a boyfriend of 4 years parents. So impressing them is extremely important to me!
i'd say look casual..not like you took ten years to think of something...and most of all not too flashy. I'd wear some cute dark wash jeans. with a cute not too fancy top W/ some accesories..but not too over the top I think you would like Urban Outfitters tops. They are pretty cute. But then again i dont rly know your whole style. I hope you like it though. GOOD LUCK!
What happens during the finalmeeting before execution?
Hi, In most countries, before a person is executed, a final meeting is permitted. What do people talk about in this meeting? Sometime even a meeting is not permitted - folks talk on phone. What happens just before the execution? Can a person walk to the gallows? Or they are dragged? What does the priest tell these people before they die? Do they die full of remorse or guilt, or just angry at everything?
In the U.S. the condemned is usually moved to a special cell just outside the execution chamber a day or more before the actual execution. I doubt most U.S. prisons allow face to face contact between the condemned and his or her family. This probably happens over the phone. They are probably permitted to meet with their attorney regarding any appeal they have outstanding. They are also given the opportunity to meet with clergy for spiritual guidance. They are also given the choice of their last meal and are fed that. It depends on whether the person goes to the execution chamber willingly or not. The is a contingent of specially trained officers on hand in case that does not go to plan. As for your last question, nobody can answer that. It is very different for each person who is executed.
