The Beatles, which had been delayed for release from the previous summer; perhaps as a result of the Vee-Jay release, Liberty Music Shops advertised in the New York Times of 12 January 1964, that Meet The Beatles was available for purchase on that date, an ad not authorized by Capitol. That depends on it's condition, among other things. Is it NEW, still sealed? Is it a first run pressing? Is it damaged in any way (scratches, tears, even minute dimples in the cover count as damage). These things all affect it's value. If it is sealed and in pristine condition, around $1200-$1500 US. If it is not sealed, around $10-50 US. |

I think you are getting confused. One is "With The Beatles", and one is "Meet The Beatles". They both have very similar covers though, but different songs, and were released at different dates. JackoTheDweeb |

Reissues sold as originals for its a Stero album made by

it has Beatles in Red
lettering. Let me knoww.

Original pressings had the black Capitol label with a rainbow band around the edge. The Apple label was put on in the early 70's, but the cover remained the same, with all the Capitol markings. They're very common, and would have to be stone cold mint to be worth anything. Even then they'd probably only fetch less than twenty bucks. |
