Is glenn beck a realistic He dismisses the majority view
of today's consensus in the
scientific community on the
issue. Is he being paid by the
petro industry? What's his
motive? Is he that ignorant or
greedy?

I shouldn't say this. But I posted a "sarcastic" post about how Al Gore was a fraud and the pollution helps the planet and leave your lights on "just for fun". Exactly 6 business days later, I receive a check from the "petro industry". I cannot say which company because it was sizeable and I am not allowed to say since I cashed the check. It says that under where you sign your name. $500 is $500, after all. I know I am greedy, but I am not ignorant. Two minutes worth of mindless "destroy our planet is okay" garbage and I get $500. I am doing this 3-4 times a week. I rationalise that people know I am just kidding, but it is hard to turn down 2 grand a week and the petro industry is filthy rich anyways. I figure I am their windfall tax. If I was greedy, I figure I could write like 50 posts a day for a year. But I am not greedy. I tell you this story to let you know that Glenn Beck is probably getting like 5 million dollars per show for saying those obvious lies. but, the evil petro industry deserves to pay the money, sorta like a tax. Glenn knows that only trailer trash would believe it anyways. Hey, I need another $500 so please throw your cigarette butts on the ground. Smoking is very healthy. Live long and prosper! |
