matchmaker?
Mrs Shapiro, the matchmaker, goes to see Mr Cohen, a confirmed bachelor for many years. "Mr Cohen, don't leave it too late. I have exactly the one you need. You only have to say the word and you'll meet and be married in no time!" says the matchmaker. "Don't bother," replies Mr Cohen, "I've two sisters at home, who look after all my needs." "That's all well and good, but all the sisters in the world cannot fill the role of a wife." "I said two sisters, I didn't say they were mine!" phil you kinky bugger
Witty! Yiddish proverb: A stick in the hand helps more than a tongue in the mouth!
Do you think a matchmaker siteexclusively for perfomingartists is a good idea?
I was wondering what the artistic community thinks about a romantic matchmaker site exclusively for actors, dancers, singers, and musicians. Being that I am an actor I know the demands of our careers makes it difficult to meet people sometimes. Do you think this idea would be a good one?
I totally agree on the demands making it difficult to meet people. I would be one person who would look in to it. Not only does such a career make it difficult to meet people but for those you are dating who are not in the entertainment industry may not understand the unusual hours or why act one way on stage and another off.
What section of "Matchmaker"(From fiddler on the roof)should I do for my audition?
This will be my first audition for a musical and I'm doing matchmaker as my character/uptempo piece. I know that it's done a lot, but I didn't have a lot of time and I need the auditioning experience and this will be my best opportunity. I need 32 bars or about 1 and a half minutes, any suggestions on what section I should do? Thanks!
