...The master race (German: die Herrenrasse, ) was a concept in Nazi ideology, which holds that the Teutonic (including the Nordic peoples), one of the branches of what in the late 19th and early 20th century was called the Aryan race, represent an ideal and "pure race". It derives from 19th century racial theory, which posited a hierarchy of races placing Aboriginal Australians and "African savages" at the bottom of the hierarchy while Northern Europeans (Germans, Swedes, Icelanders, Norwegians, Danish, English and Dutch) at the top, and Southern Europeans (Spanish, French, Italian, and Portugese) somewhere in the middle. Isn't it ironic Germans were Experts claim that people with
blond hair will become extinct
by 2202.
The master race was a concept
in Nazi ideology, they wanted
to breed a pure race of Blond
people.
Isn't it ironic today the
Blond hair color is considered
endangered ?

Actually, yes it is ironic, though endangered is not the same as doomed. Since both blond hair and blue eyes are recessive genes, the survival of the traits will depend on certain populations remaining fairly homogeneous in the gene pool. The best bet for such a thing would be in the Scandinavian nations, which ironically represented what Hitler considered the best, "nordic" form of his master race. |

HITLER WAS TOTALLY WRONG! THANKS TO THE WESTER COUNTRIES WE HAVE A WRONG IMAGE OF THE ARYANS! (ACCORDING TO THE LATEST SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE THE FORFATHERS OF THE HOMO SAPIENS (US HUMANS), THE HOMO ERECTUS ORIGINATED IN AFRICA! SO WE ALL ARE ACTUALLY AFRICANS RIGHT?) THE WORD ARYAN HAS ITS ORIGIN IN SANSKRIT, MAX MÜLLER TOOK THE WORD FROM THE VEDAS, THE AUTHORS OF THE VEDAS CALLED THEMSELVES "ARYA" WHICH MEANS "NOBLE". THEY LIVE IN THE AREA WHICH MAKES TODAYS INDIA, IRAN,AFGHANISTAN AND PAKISTAN. THEY WERE NO BARBARIANS AS THE WESTERN "WHITE ARYANS" SAY... SEE ALL THOSE CONTRIBUTIONS OF THE ARYANS AND THEIR SUCCESSORS IN SCIENCE, PHILOSOPHY, ASTRONOMY, MEDICINE ETC... CAN THAT BE FROM BARBARIANS??? THERE ARE STILL NO PROOFS FOR ALL THOSE "ARYAN THEORIES" OF THE WEST... WE SHOULD STOP MISUSING AND INSULTING THE NAME OF THE ANCESTORS OF THOSE NATION. to ARYAN-DRAVIDIAN theory used by the british in colonial era: Recent studies of the distribution of alleles on the Y chromosome microsatellite DNA, and mitochondrial DNA in India have cast overwhelmingly strong doubt for a biological Dravidian "race" distinct from non-Dravidians in the Indian subcontinent. The only distinct ethnic groups present in South Asia, according to genetic analysis, are the Balochi, Brahui, Burusho, Hazara, Kalash, Pathan and Sindhi peoples, the vast majority of whom are found in today's Pakistan. |

How could Adolf Hitler and Adolf Hitler's ideal German
was tall, athletic, blond, and
blue-eyed. As we all know, he
was dark-haired, swarthy, and
unathletic. So was Rudolf
Hess. Plus, Hermann Goering
was morbidly obese. And not
only that, but there was no
room in Hitler's Germany for
the physically and mentally
disabled, but his propaganda
minister, Joseph Goebbels, had
a club foot. None of these
guys looked like Norse gods,
so how could they think that
they were members of the Aryan
"Master Race" they thought was
the only one fit to inhabit
Germany?
This is a question about
German history, not American
politics.

An interesting question! Actually tied to the idea of "Survival of the fittest" (Charles Darwin) and Fredrick Nietzche, who writings on the so called master race preceeded the rise of the Nazi 'psyche'. The idea of a master race is as much an objective as it is a description; this in part confirms the anomality of doing away with the infirm and the mentally unfit. This exclusivilty of the select few is a philosophy that many have used and continue to use throughout history as well as today. The idea of being 'one of the elect' or select few tickles our human arrogance to the exclusion of others. |
