Why is there no hotels I've tried a few different
hotels, and they are all
booked. What's going on?? Even
a hotel with 292 rooms is
full.
Ya, I've sort of broadened my
search. But all the more
"family friendly" hotels are
gone.

I don't think anything big is happening that day but it could be people coming to LA for Spring Break. Why don't you just search on Hotels.com? Looks like there are a lot available for that date. EDIT- Yeah Paris Hilton is right, its probably the Pac 10 Tourney. Putting up 8 different basketball teams plus all of their fans will definitely sell out some of the hotels in LA. Since the tourney is in Downtown at the Staples Center, probably find a hotel thats far away from there and you should be able to find a room. |

Also check vacation rentals by owners www.vrbo.com We have rented from various owners at this site and been very pleased. I have used vrbo for Florida as well as for vacations in Smokey Mountains. Read all the fine print, look at pictures and confirm that the home you are looking at the photos of is actually the house you are renting. Ask owner if there is management nearby to fix anything that may break down while you are there. Find out if there are extra fees or taxes. Some pools have higher heat rates than others do. Look at a local map and confirm distance and driving times to the theme parks. If you have toddlers with you make sure you can lock them out from the lanai/pool area. Some homes even have alarms that sound if these doors are opened. Or there are barriers set up to keep little ones safe from the pool. You should be able to find something in that price range without any problem. Have a magical trip. |
