Is Lucan in the County of I've been thinking of moving
to Ireland and am saving up
money for it,but I've been
wondering if Lucan is a good
place to live. As in lively
people, not to costly to live
in an apartment or something,
and a good number of jobs.
Thank you ^-^

You probably want to be closer to the city centre for jobs and stuff, it really is in the middle of no-where and not great transport- a bit of suburbia. Try find something in Harold's cross, Rathgar (all D6W post code), or D1/D2 if you want city centre. D3/D8 are good areas too, but wherever you go, it is best to visit the area before committing to rent, as each area can have unsavory blocks, where you do not want to live. On the jobs front, remember that Ireland is in a recession, and unemployment has doubled in the last year. It isn't the land of milk and honey it was a year or two ago. Enjoy your trip though. |
