Born in Queens, he dropped out of high school and joined G-Unit in 2003 with fellow rappers 50 Cent, Tony Yayo, and Young Buck. G-Unit released two albums, Beg for Mercy in 2003 and T.O.S. in 2008. Banks?
He used to be amazing,
honestly listen to his older
non commercial stuff (Banks
Workout Pt. 2 for example)
before you go slagging him off
because hes down with 50... He
had the most awesome lyrical
structure, and mad metaphors.
But now hes fallen off big
time? He switched his flow up
and changed his voice its like
a completely different rapper?
I know there are alot of G
Unit haters out there but i
reckon Lloyd Banks was one of
the best new lyricists of
recent times... before he
switched it up
Does anyone agree with me?

i personally think he wastes/wasted all his lyrical talent on mixtapes. everyday there was some new mixtape he dropped b4 da rotten album was finally released. n when i finally heard it, i was really disappointed cuz the mixtapes had me all excited 4 da album. and afta the album i think he jus got lazy. hunger for more is a classic tho n the mixtapes B4 rotten apple was straight fire |
