Why is femdom categorized I am not gay, bisexual or
transgendered and I like
straight dominant women more
than lesbian ones. I think
it's discriminatory and
uninformed broad
generalization to tag people
who like femdom like this.

I am not gay and I like lesbians more than straight dominant women. I think its discriminatory and ignorant to make a statement that you like straight women more than lesbians. |

Why do heaps of questions get I've noticed that there are
heaps of questions in that
category that don't seem to be
gay at all.
I asked a question about my
laptop the other day and the
category suggested by yahoo
answers was a Lesbian, Gay,
Bisexual, and Transgendered.

Interesting where your placement of your laptap inquiry was directed... And you say it was done so by Y A Answers...? Wonderful... Wonder at times who's running the ship...??? And yet when precise and direct replies and truthful ones are given, they soon know how to jump up and down and deduct points from people.. I sometimes actually think they "plot" situations to see how many people can get really annoyed... Also makes you wonder why there are specific categories and rooms if they themselves direct questions into situations that have no baring on the subject matter of the room.. Rachelle In High Heels |

Apparently this is LGBTQ What exactly is a
transgendered person? And how
does one know they are a
transgendered person? I'm
asking because my school sent
an email saying its LGTBTQ
(lesbian, gay, bisexual,
transgendered questioning)
month. I know about everything
except the transgendered one..
Thanks!!

It's great that your school acknowledges that it is indeed LGBTQ History Month!!! A transgendered person is someone who doesn't relate to the gender that they were born with. A transsexual person, however, is a transgendered person who has had operations/hormones to become the desired sex. And a transvestite is someone who dresses in the clothes of the opposite sex without having a desire to really become the gender that they dress as (I know you didn't ask about transvestite but it can be a good one to know). Usually, if someone is born transgendered, they know that they're in the wrong body from the moment they learn the difference between being male and female. Sometimes it's a longer process, depending on the person. Imagine being born in a gender that totally didn't fit you. That's what it's like. Of course, to different people these words mean different things, the above definitions are only mine, so take what you will from them. |
