I just make up a really cool If I get 7 cookies on sunday
and 6 more on monday and 5
more on tuesday.How many will
I have i have at the end of
the year if the pattern
persists, the year started on
a thursday, and it was not a
leap year.
If you can answer this in
under an hour I will digitally
give you a hug, or a cookie, I
don't know, I have a ton of
both at the end of that year
lol.

I assume you mean you get 7 on each Sunday, 6 on each Monday, etc. If so there are 53 Thursdays and 52 of each other day of the week. Thursday would be a 3 cookie day so you've got 53(3)+52(7+6+5+4+2+1) or 159+52(25) or 1459 cookies. |

Help!! I want to make the My high school dance team
tryouts for next year are
starting this coming up
monday. I really want to make
the team. I have been doing
dance at a studio for about 5
years now but not
competevitly. The requirments
are high kicks, grande jete,
switch leap, double or triple
piroutte, straight leg
fouettes, and leap in second.
I can do almost everything on
the requierements list pretty
good, except for switchleaps
and straight leg fouttes. I
can do a leap in second but
not very strong. My pirouttes
are strong most of the time
but not every time. Im
wondering if any one can give
me some adivce or if i should
even try out?? please help! :[

You absolutely should try out. You've been practicing for this moment for 5 years. I don't think many people can do all of those items you mentioned perfectly anyways. I used to be a professional dancer, and gymnast, and if I can give you any word of advice to make it, it would be: Excude confidence, smile, keep your back straight, legs tight, stomach pulled in, seat tight, and just relax. As my dance coach used to always say before we went on stage -- TNT girls...(tits & teeth) |

Why September and December I wonder that the between
dates on normal years and leap
years. Common years mean have
365 days only between on
February 28th and March 1st.
Leap years have 366 days on
February 29th. I noticed on
calendar 2008 and 2009 I saw
on September 2008 started on
Monday and on December started
the same day of the week as
September. I checked on
calendar 2009 and looked on
September and December 2009
will still have the same day
of the week. But 2008 was a
leap year had 366 days and
this year 2009 is a common
year with 365 days how still
have the same day of the week
as September and December. I
just wonder why September and
December have always the same
day of the week at every
years?

In general, if you add the number of days in sep, oct and nov, you will arrive at a number that is evenly divisible by 7, which then means dec will have the same days of week as sep. For that matter, feb and mar will have the same days since feb had 28 days that is evenly divisible by 7. |
