Hi I'm an italian girl, I want to know if you like Italy, how do you find to talk to italian people (in english of course) and... can you tell me some words and other things like that wich are usually used by guys in Uk (I want even a short explanation of what they means)... you know I want to strange my friends and maybe my teachers! I found them pretty good with speaking English...France was much tricker to get around!! I found a couple of funny sayings...when I wanted to have water with my meal, they would ask if I wanted it natural or "with gas"......I nearly laughed the first time I heard it...I would say fizzy or carbonated!!! I love Italia!!

Even though the regions of Italy didn't unify until the 1860s, how old is the Italian nation and how did the nation of Italy come into existence? How did the Italian language form and why does it sound a lot like Spanish when French doesn't sound at all like Spanish? What type of money was used in Italy before the lira?
Italy *still* doesn't have a single language. There's the same problem in Spain, but it's worse in Italy. Sicilian is not the same as spoken in Naples and neither is the same as the Italian of Rome, etc. It's not like comparing USA's Chesapeake Bay to Gulf coast, it's almost like comparing Seminole to Apache.
So, Italy was expected toreceive 0 goals during theEuro before the injury ofCannavaro?
Don't you think that Italy are still expected to receive no goals even without Cannavaro ?
A lot of that will depend on Buffon and how his form holds up more so than Cannavaro. There are other competent defenders who can fill in.
