In-situ, precast concrete andstructural steel forconcstruction of low andmedium rise framed structures?
What are the advantages and disadvantages of using precast concrete, in-situ concrete and structural steel? Also does anyone know where I could get some more information on this. like a case study or something?
Depends on the circumstances. Steel frames can be erected quickly on site but may have long lead time, be inflexible and require secondary fire protection. Prices are currently high. In-situ concrete has some of the disadvantages of steel such as lead times and lack of flexibility (once production starts) but can be quick on site, has in-built fire protection and can have higher thermal mass - helping to regulate building temperature. Precast concrete requires a lot more site work but can more easily accomodate late design changes and irregular frameworks. Its good in fire, has thermal mass and modern formwork systems can increase productivity. Timber framing is also an option for low to medium rise buidings. I've linked some websites of trade bodies which I think have the examples and case studies that you are looking for.
Emergency Procedure in ahydraulic faliure situ inBoeing 737?
Hi guys i just cant find any thin on the emergency procedures in case of a hydraulic faliure of a B737!! please help
Should you lose your A and B hydraulic systems in the 737, you’ll be down to the standby system. LE flaps and slats will be available, Thrust reversers and rudder will still be powered. The -300 will have the autoslat function available as well. You’ll be in manual reversion for the ailerons. You’ll lose a whole bunch of stuff. You’ll be using the alternate gear and flap extension procedures. Use flaps 15 for landing. Fly a normal approach profile for final. Because the airplane will be really sluggish in the roll mode, you’d better make your pattern a bit wide. Steep banks in manual reversion are a bad idea. Once you’re on the ground, you’ll need a tow to the gate, as the nosewheel steering is hydraulic powered. It’s been 5 years since I’ve flown this airplane and seen this scenario in the sim. I’ve left out a bit, but I do remember that we were REALLY busy at the time. We should've had a checklist for all of the checklists that we had to run. I’d recommend having a complete hydraulic failure while you’re parked at the gate. It’s so much easier.
In using the neoplasm table, what do you do when there isno code in cancer in situ?
When using the neoplasm table in the ICD-9-CM, how would one code cancer in situ of the temporal lobe?
You'll never find it there. What you're probably looking for is under skin: Ca in situ of temple or similar.
