How to crop images inPhotoshop that are zoomed inon without image moving?
When I open a photo in Photoshop Elements or Photoshop and zoom in on it so much that some or all of the image goes off the screen, I can't crop the image anywhere near the corners without the image rapidly moving once I drag the crop mark. How do I "freeze" the image so it doesn't start scrolling around, so I can then start my crop from any of the corners of image?
Certain image resolution fordigital pictures that will beplayed on a projectedslideshow?
I'm making a picture slideshow and am having to scan old pictures in and turn them into digial images. They're saving with a resolution of roughly 500 x 700. This slideshow will be projected rather large and I'm worried that the images won't project nicely. Will this matter or is the image clarity going to be based on the actual projector itself? I hope this makes sense... Please help!
Obviously the larger the resolution the better, however it wont do any good to exceed the resolution of the projector because then the images will just be scaled down. Chances are, the projector's resolution is 1024x768. If this is the case, 500x700 will look fine, but you might want to try upping the resolution just a bit if you wish (but never exceed 1024 for the width or 768 for the height). If you find out that the projector is higher resolution (some are now 1280x720 for 720p HD stuff, or 1280x1024 for newer computer projectors), then adjust accordingly. That being said, do NOT make the scan resolution super big just for the heck of it. If the image file sizes are too big, it will bog the slideshow down, and it may even cause the transitions or music to skip if you are playing the slideshow "live" (that is, you have not rendered it into a video file or DVD)
