Opening as the iTunes Music Store on April 28, 2003, with over 200,000 items to purchase, it was as of April 2008 the number-one music vendor in the United States. As of January 2009, the store has sold 6 billion songs, accounting for 70% of worldwide online digital music sales and making the service the largest legal music retailer. While most downloaded files have previously included restrictions on their use, enforced by FairPlay, Apple's implementation of digital rights management, iTunes initiated a shift into selling DRM-free music in some countries, marketed as iTunes Plus. On January 6, 2009, Apple announced that DRM had been removed from 80% of the entire music catalog in the US. hi on my itunes account i set
my country to united states so
it said i could only access
the us itunes store but ive
heard of an itunes uk store.
does anyone have an idea of
how i can access that store
without having to change my
account information?

You will need to go the bottom of the main iTunes store page. There is a drop-down list there. Choose the UK store. You may need to enter a (presumably fake) address from somewhere in the UK. Any gift cards you had on your account will be deleted, and your account will be switched to the UK store. |

How come itunes store is not My friend lives in Jamaica he
bought an ipod but he can't
get an itunes account because
it's not accessible in
Jamaica.
Why sell ipods in countries
people can't be accessible to
the Itunes store because their
country is not there when they
have to sign up?
So now he have to download
songs from a sharing software
and people say it's illegal.

How can i get the iTunes store I try to get on the iTunes
store, but it says iTunes
could not connect to the
iTunes store. Make sure your
network connection is active
and try again. I dont know
what to do. I cleaned the DNS
completely & it still wont
work.

Has it ever worked on your computer? Do you have any firewall software that could be blocking it? If you've never been able to connect, enable iTunes to run in the firewall. If it stopped working after an update, try the iTunes StoreFixer at http://www.systemgadgets.com |
