Although these answers are correct, i'm not sure if they're what you're actually looking for. During development, the embryo is surrounded by the "cytotrophoblast" and "syncitiotrophoblast", which forms the "placenta" to exchange nutrients, wastes, O2 and CO2. After 8 weeks of development, it becomes the "fetus" and grows for a total of "38-40" weeks before being born. The last answer is for the total pregnancy time. If the answer you're looking for is time spent as a fetus, then the answer would be more like 30 weeks. |

similarities between the starfish and human stages of development Both have radial, indeterminate cleavage, enterocoelous formation of the coelom, and development of the anus from the blastopore( deuterosomes) gastrula a more advanced stage of development than the blastocyst because blastocyst has only some differentiation in the embryonic cells but GASTRULA is differentiated into THREE germ layers. These germ layers are programmed to form specific organ system Hoped it helped |
