Acquiring a rabbit
There are many rescue groups, humane societies, and local city animal shelters and individuals that have rabbits available for adoption, typically for a small fee. Additionally, reputable breeders and some pet stores sell rabbits. Pet stores are often considered the least preferable place to acquire a new rabbit as the rabbit's history is unknown, and many come from pet farms with poor conditions. Some stores, however, do document the history of their stock, which can be used to verify their environmental conditions. House Rabbit?
I am planning on getting a
xmas tree soon but i have a
house rabbit who lives around
the house freeley, not sure if

he eats the pines. Anyone who
know if the pines are
poisonous to them?

Dont think so........ i think a real one would be better than a fake one cause he might eat the fake paint off the fake one. I live in colorado where we have christmas trees growing all over and have rabbits everywhere and i mean where ever you go you see one, and i have never once seen one interested in a pine. |

What is the best type of dog I have a rabbit who has the
run of the whole house. She is
very happy but I've read
rabbits get very lonely even
if people make a constant fuss
of them, therefore I would
love for her to have a
companion. I definitely do not
want to get another rabbit but
would be happy with a small
dog. Could anyone advise me if
there is a suitable type of
dog out there that maybe could
even bond well with a house
rabbit? Thanks!

NOT A JACK RUSSEL! NO HUNTING TYPE DOGS!! (Beagles, bloodhounds etc) I have a cocker spanial/bull terrior mix and hes quite good with my rabbits. Get a puppy and let them have contact. Normally when animals (ex: puppies and cats) Grow up together from an early age, they do fine with each other. |
