Holocaust?
I Know The Holocaust Was Horrible A Thing, But I Dont See What Was So Terrible About It. Would Someone Please Explain In Depth What Was So Overwhelming About The Holocaust How Dare You Call Me An IDIOT and A Jerk! I Just Asked A Question And I Expect It To Be Answered Not Me Be Criticized! Huh Thank You Very Much
The Holocaust was the extermination of 6 million jews in concentration camps in Germany during the second World War. Adolph Hitler hated the jews so he exterminated them. Many were gassed, others were shot, they were all tortured in various ways. And then killed and put into mass graves. When the allies came in and freed the remaining prisoners they were totally horrified by what they found. Sick and starving prisoners, and the sight of mass graves and stories of the torture by the German gestapo became known world wide and many pictures of these atrocities circulated to the outside world. People were horrified and there are probably no words for what was done to these people. That is why the Holocaust was a "Horrible Thing".
why was the German holocaustthe most famous genocidecompared to others?
there were many genocides and "holocausts" like in rwanda, turkey, russia etc. why is the holocaust in germany the most famous one? what is different about this one?
Probably because it was the largest in scale and it incorporated the full weight of the state in conducting the holocaust. It was also intricately planned and carried out on an unprecedented scale by almost a whole nation. Perhaps the fact that the German's were regarded as an educated and civilised people it is interesting to see how they as a nation desceneded into all out genocide on an established people within their country. You could also argue that the holocaust was the most wide ranging of genocides. Not just one race or religion but masses of Jews, Poles, Czecks, Gypsies, Roma, Handicapped, Communists, Catholics, Protestants, Slavs etc, this again is unprecedented when compared to other genocides such as Rwanda/ Former Yugoslavia etc. On a side note to Jamal A I think your answer is quite insensitive, the question is asking why do we thing the Nazi Holocaust is the most famous, and i think your anti-western tirade detracts from importance of the question and subject at hand. Indeed many muslims died as a result but half of the world's Jewish population was wiped out, HALF in only six years!!!
Reciever of holocaust dishingit out like a bullied childwho became a bully?
Where are the so called psychologists? Is Holocaust not a bad thing? What is the difference between the german Holocaust against the Jews and the Jewish Holocaust against the Palestinians? Is it not true that "One man's terrorist in another man's freedom fighter"? Remember Mandela's ANC of South Africa was labeled terrorist by USA, Britain and other big powers?. Is Israel not proving the fact that a bullied child grows up to become a super bully adult?
I agree Isreal needs to back off
