Do any mid-20 somethings have I am planning a 7 day
Caribbean cruise in April. I
have been looking at Holland
America cruise lines and have
been drawn to their itinerary.
It would be for my boyfriend
and I we are both 25. I am
worried about how old the
other passengers will be and
if we will fit in and enjoy
ourselves.
We are NOT big party people,
but we still like to feel more
alive then the over 50 crowd.

Hi, Holland America is my cruise line of choice. I'm in the "below 40" category and usually the youngest person on the cruise, but I don't care. They have the best food and less people puking on your shoes. The older folks usually don't act crazy when they get drunk (and don't think that they don't) and they can usually hold their liquor better than the younger people. Don't think that these "older folks" are on the brink of death, because that is not the case. I prefer a quieter cruise so this one is perfect for me. There is plenty to do around the ship. But it has a higher level of service and maturity than many of the other cruises. You should try it if you prefer their itinerary. You'll have a great time regardless of which cruise ship you take. If you cruise often, you may begin building preferences, but until you have many cruises to compare it too, you'll just have a great time. |

www.hollandamerica.com is their website. When you go there, it will ask you to register, if you haven't done that already. Well all that you have to do is click on Mariner's number icon that is underlined, and they will send you an email with the number. If that doesn't work, if you are a past guest, then you can call Holland America's 800 number and they will give it to you. You have to be a past guest that has sailed with them before to get a Mariner number. If that is the case, and you still have you ticket stubs, it will have it on there as well. |
