Heck Once is too many times! But yes it happens and I agree two times is too much! You need to make sure you completely rid your home and family of any trace of them, then make sure you teach your son not to share hats, combs and brushes. If I were you I would have a talk with the teacher and see if she can do something to help, like send out a paper to all the parents...just in case some of them are not aware of why their kids are scratching their heads...Some people just don't know about things like this....good luck :-) The good thing is you have a boy..you can shave his head if need be...I did that when my son got lice when he was young...easier and no poison! |

Be the parent, and make her. You will have to be firm. If she gets up, make her go lay back down. Make sure she gets everything done a little before bed time-sip of water, brush teeth, use restroom- so she won't have any excuses to get back up. |

What time does your grade When does he/she have to be up
for school and what time are
they in bed? We have a little
girl heading into kindergarden
this year and we were
wondering how everyone is
handling bed time.

8pm it's lights out. I absoutely think the worst thing you can do as a parent, aside from abuse or neglect or those kinds of things...is to let a child stay up too late, or change their bedtime around. They NEED a set bedtime, even on weekends. If you are going to change it on weekends, you must give them no more than one more hour. I stayed up late as a kid, as a teen...and my parents were always complaining about how hard it was to get me up in the morning. They, who let me stay up all night and blamed me for not going to bed....then believed that it was just 'the way I was" being a late sleeper. NO Get her on a set time and keep it there! |
